steamdeck_startup_animations's Issues

Doesn't Uninstall

Tried Uninstalling and still uses the boot animations despite the file destination not existing.

Video cut off on boot

It seems that the 9e9 time edit doesnt work as any of the vids will play for 5 seconds and then the rest is skipped

Adding Videos

I've added some of the webm videos from BunnyStrike (Seinfeld, Breaking Bad, etc. )to the same directory hoping they would be added to the random list, but I don't think they are. Is there a way to do this?

Black screen after booting

currently can't see anything on the screen.
i once got a ds boot screen followed up by the profile selection menu and then black screen again.
console still works but can't see anything.
will have to plug it into a monitor to check.

Random iteration and uninstalling both do not work.

Using the command provided in the console downloads everything, however it only uses one startup animation, it does not swap between the provided ones.

And, as far as I’m aware, there is no way to remove the startup animation. It is permanently stuck, unless you run the command again, in which case it’ll swap to a different startup animation from the provided videos, but only one. The uninstall file provided does not uninstall the animation, rather it deletes every file. Despite every file being deleted, including the video in use, the startup animation will remain the same.

Boot videos not fullscreen

I installed over ssh with your script, and I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but the boot videos are not full screen and have a gray border around them (Matching the original SteamOS boot video)

It's all the videos, not just the gameboy one
