I tried it and it's working except for one little detail.
If I have the aura applying to a nearby token and hide, the aura is still present on that nearby token, but if I reveal the source aura token again, that's when the aura dissapear.
This GIF will clarify it, basically the hidden effect toggles everytime the source token is visible (notice the aura visual effect on the other token)

Here it is, I tried it in a new empty world without modules and the problem is a bit different, it's just like before, when hidden the aura is not disabled.

I'm having this same problem again with 0.1.32 and the "ignore self" doesn't work.
I created a world for you to test it, it uses this modules

So, to make the aura no apply to the owning actor you will need to re-make the aura. There was a little bug in there too which I have now fixed (the no aura application when first moving into the aura)

I remade it removing the entire effect and creating it again and it still have these problems, I noticed even moving around a player token activate or deactivate the effect.

The problem from the previous comment was now nowhere to be seen as for the new update :) but now the aura of a hidden token seems to be applying like before:
