Error while compiling

When running qmake.. command while building gqrx digital branch. I am getting following error:
`
Project MESSAGE: Gqrx configured with pulseaudio backend
Project MESSAGE: No prefix given. Using /usr/local
fatal: No names found, cannot describe anything.

Any recommended solution?

instructions for compiling in mac os x

Trying to learn how to make this work in mac os x (el capitan), so I can add gr-DSD support to GQRX. Tried the following to build from digital branch, which includes gr-DSD support:

git clone -b digital https://github.com/kantooon/gqrx_fork.git
cd gqrx_fork.git
mkdir build; cd build
qmake ..

but encountered the error:

Project MESSAGE: No prefix given. Using /usr/local
fatal: No names found, cannot describe anything.

The instructions in README-mac.txt suggest the downloadable .dmg -- however, that appears to be based on the "master" (not "digital") branch, and therefore does not include DSD as a demodulation mode, so I'd appreciate any thoughts on if it is possible to compile the gr-DSD-enabled GQRX in mac os x.

libosmo-tetra-mac and -phy

I've created a recipe for your digital branch, and integrated into pybombs. I'm able to make it past compilation after adding a bunch of other dependencies, but the linking phase -- I just can't get it past that. Keep getting stuck at

All of the dependencies are there... libosmo-tetra-phy and libosmo-tetra-mac are installed from git at http://tetra.osmocom.org/trac/wiki/osmo-tetra.

Do you have any pointers on getting this compiling? I can submit a pull with the full pybombs recipe I've created, which get's pretty far, but this phase is killing me.

what modulation you added to gqrx till this time?

hi,gqrx is great ,digital modulation is so perfect, likes like PSK,ASK,FSK,QPSK,QFSK,QAM,...
my question is now your gqrx which modulation support?
