Impossible to use the php recipe from Opscode

We encounter this error when running kitchen verify:

It is related to the metadata.rb file from the iis Opscode cookbook which includes the content of the README file that contains some utf-8 characters. It seems kitchen has an Encoding.default_external set to US-ASCII in some unknown way.
Could be linked to the generated Rubygems bins.

Configure php5-fpm

Change listen directive to use unix socket.
Configure a new pool.

Add a github SSH key for the deploy user

Install php5-curl

PHP Curl extension
Should restart php-fpm afterwards

Network config

Open ports:

• any -> 80
• any -> 22

Deploy user should be an attribute

Create dirs for cache and logs

Needed for karouf/pictesfootball#14

775 deploy:www-data /var/log/pictesfootball.com
775 deploy:www-data /var/cache/pictesfootball.com

Set Nginx server directive from an attribute

Create deployment directory

Add deploy user to www-data group

So it can access cache and logs.

Use local kitchen.yml

Remove the default Nginx vhost

Create deployment user

Nginx conf so the code can be deployed via capifony

Nginx root should point to /var/www/pictesfootball.com/current/web

Use the same user for nginx, php-fpm and deployment

Install PostgreSQL

Test git executable instead of git package in serverspec

Web server user should be an attribute

Rename cookbook from apps to pictesfootball

Install php5-fpm

Ensure php5-fpm is installed and php5-fpm service is started on boot and running.
