Well, I took another run at this and I think I have a reasonable set of type hints. This is my first experience with them, so there may be issues I missed. They are checked into this github repository if you would like to try them out. I would appreciate any feedback you might have.

I have just released the latest version of QuantiPhy that includes type hint and pushed it to PyPi.

Type hint are something that I have not used and so am not familiar with them. After receiving your message I took a quick look at mypy, but it looks like a big investment to get to the point where I would feel comfortable doing this anytime soon.
If you are interested, you can help me get started. I like the feature in mypy that allows you to add type hints in a separate file so that the hint do no clutter up the source code. If you were willing to provide me a first cut at a pyi file for QuantiPhy, I might be able to take it from there.

I will take a look ๐
