Thanks for the library, it works well but the selection of TextEditingController gets shifted to the front whenever an emoji is selected, expected behaviour of the selection should be shifted after the emoji to allow for more text to be appended after the emoji.

Please upgrade the packages used

The packages used are pretty old ones. Please update the packages

does not work on Brightness.light app

The selected icons white, although I can change the emoji one with indicatorColor there is no way to change the ones on the emoji/giphy bar at the bottom, there is also no way to change the icon color of the delete icon at the bottom right, and the Search GIPHY placeholder text does not show up on a light background

Support for Emoji

I am using chat_pickers plugin for my custom keyboard. GIFs and stickers are working fine but when I try to load Emojis by replacing GIFs and stickers API with Emojis address, it doesn't work. It would be more interesting if this package support Emojis and texts.

Searching for emoji takes up too much screen realestate

This is clearly heavily inspired by whatsapp which is great, but on whatsapp when you search for an emoji it switches to a short horizontal scroller for the results, this should really do the same, as users with small phones cannot see the full emoji keyboard, and their onscreen keyboard.
