Segfault when running pineapd on gli150

I have compiled brand new firmware and extract the latest version of the pineapple software and i am getting this error.
this is the dmesg result

do_page_fault(): sending SIGSEGV to pineapd for invalid read access from 0000005c
[ 515.263461] epc = 770088a1 in libpcap.so.1[77000000+2b000]
[ 515.268826] ra = 004053f8 in pineapd[400000+e000]

Something is not being found

Just ran the script and found out that there is an error somewhere in this function:

I cannot find out where exactly. But ubuntu 16 is saying "no such file or directory"
Which it says is in line 74...

Building process keeps failing

When I run build_pineapple.sh, the script runs, but eventually fails after a while with the following message:

make: *** [world] Error 1
find: `/home/utest/gl-ar150-pineapple-firmware-builder/openwrt-cc/bin': No such file or directory

After I've manually added the bin folder to the specified path and running the script again, it runs, but then eventually fails with this message:

make -r world: build failed. Please re-run make with -j1 V=s to see what's going on
make: *** [world] Error 1
utest@utest-VirtualBox:~/gl-ar150-pineapple-firmware-builder$ make -j1 V=s
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.

I've installed all dependencies, and tried multiple OSes, all end with the same error. Any ideas?
