Frostbite

These are the collection of tools, applications, mods all dealing with the Frostbite Engine (FB2+)

Rime Mod Tools - Mod tools for the Frostbite engine, allows for fully new content creation. Written in C# .NET Core

Frostbite Key Retrieval - Used for scanning a running Frostbite Engine game and pulling out the file verification encryption keys

VEXT BFJumper Mod - Mod similar to CoDJumper for Call of Duty 2/4

Halo

In a previous life, I did Halo modding. Eventually laying the framework down for the AnvilOnline/ElDewrito project.

Zipper

Zipper produced some of the best shooter games for the PlayStation. Below are tools to interface with either the game engines or the games assets.

Zipper Tool - First adventure into the rust programming language, used for research on MAG and SOCOM 4 game assets.

I did game console modding as well, below are projects relating to the PlayStation 3 and 4.

PS3 PSARC Reader - PS3 .psarc file reader/extractor.

PS4 Kernel Pattern Calculator - Uses pattern signatures in order to scan differences in the PS4 kernel.

Implement STRAT TIME

Usually before a round starts there is a 5-10s wait for players to discuss strats for that round.

Weapon balancing/modifications

This is probably the last thing to be done.

  • Grenade toss distance needs to be made predictable and more powerful
  • Weapons need to be more deadly
  • Restrictions on attachments

Implement flashbangs

There currently are flashbangs in SP missions, but unsure on how they will work in multiplayer. If this is not feasible, then we will need to remove them.

Implement Knife Rounds

This should force all players dead, and then respawn them at the required spawn points with nothing but only a knife. This should also disable the "grabbing" animations and possibly make the knives a 1 hit kill.

Maybe a custom play area is needed?

Implement the 4 class system

There needs to be a restriction on what weapons can be used in promod, most are trash anyway.

  • Assault
  • SMG
  • Demolitions
  • Sniper

Dead spectator camera

Attempt to use cameras to spectate in first person once a player as died without leaving/rejoining as a spectator.

This way you are forced to watch your teammmates until they are dead/round restarts.

Implement Death Chat restrictions

Players should not be able to send chat messages to alive players if they are dead.

If a player is alive their messages will be sent to all players, dead or alive

If a player is dead, they can only communicate with other dead players

Disable respawns

Players should be allowed to spawn once, and only at a spawn point. Team spawning, and spawning after a round has started should be disabled server-side

Spectator XRAY

This should be available for spectators only in order to see player nametags/xray through walls and such (hax).
