Lock computer

Nice software works kind a fine, it connects sends over temperature ram etc, i made a switch to lock my pc, it shows in the mqtt client but computer does not lock, anyone know s how to get it to work

Issue: monitor preset does nothing

Checking the "monitor" checkbox does not add a preset to the command list. After clicking "save and close", the terminal shows "/monitor value 1" and "/monitor value 0" correctly when I publish to the mqtt, however no changes occurs. My monitors do not turn off or on.

Perhaps it's a administration priv problem? I did try running as administrator. No change.

how to config client?

I need to connect to a hassio server to get command from it. how can i config? there's no guild.
server: is this ip of my hassio server?
username: what should i fill in this?
password: this too!
port: what is the port? 8123?

Ability to monitor Windows lock state?

Is it possible to implement (currently or in a future version) the ability to monitor if the workstation is currently locked or not (for the user's session who is running the Win10As app)?

I want to see the Lock/Unlock state in HA because it is more reliable than the Last Input State - if you are watching a video, for example, it would not see you are "active", but the workstation is unlocked.

Of course, this relies on the user knowing to lock their workstation whenever they leave, and that's an acceptable limitation.

Change in way of getting and saving settings

User settings need to be wrapped in class with properties with names corresponding with settings. The actual solution can generate problems when settings file will become larger and larger. If you mistype the name of the setting, raises an exception is raised. If settings will be wrapped in class, intellisense will take care of it, even before compilation

Run minimized and app/running sensor

Appreciate your work on the Win10As project in Github.
I need your help please....
Is it possible to run the application minimized on startup, if so, how?
I see you've been making several noteable contributions to the project, would you be able to create a build with your latest changes?
I'm also unsure as to how I can implement the app/running sensor in my config. I'm using HASS.IO as my automation server. Does it only work as a sensor to show if the app us running or not or is it a switch?
Would it be possible to assist with the config as the original readme from the author doesn't work.
I am able to run a script to execute a command and run/close and application through MQTT

Trouble with antivirus

My antivirus is going crazy, since is "overprotecting" my %USERPROFILE%-folder. It keeps blocking the exe-file at first, got that sorted, but now the application states it can't write to Roaming\triggers.json and no matter what I do, I'm unable to fix it.

Could the application be installed to a custom directory instead, containing all settings, programfiles, etc?

Connection tests shows ok but the app doens't connect

Self explanable title. I did tests to make sure that my mqtt server is working and receiving packets, even it shows on log when a make a connection test on mqtt client

Excuse the dumb question but how could I build the project in the latest master commit? The only release available is a bit outdated.

Downloaded latest release. Doesn't work. In settings : connected , but outside settings not connected in statusbar

Causing 100% CPU usage

This program seems to immediately hit my CPU for 100% usage.

core i5-4670k 4.6ghz
windows 10 x64

CPU is very high and connection has errors

When I test connection it says it works, then nothing happens.
If I save and close nothing happens.

My CPU (and fan) goes crazy though.

This is a few restarts later but at some of the first attempts it had 90% CPU

Method of getting MainFormContainer into Logger class must be changed as soon as possible. It is very bad.

remove units

I am trying to use with lovelace ui gauge cards but the cpu load and freememory have % and MB units on the end of the mqtt message which is stopping the gauge card working as entity is non-numeric
How can I remove the trailing unit symbols ?

Battery on Lenovo Yoga

Thanks for this software it enables me to monitor usage of my laptop but I can't get the battery level to work.
All the other sensors are reported but not battery. Any ideas?

Is possible to add cpu temp?
