πŸ—“οΈ Weekly Challenges

Welcome to our weekly challenge series, where we present you with real-world scenarios to enhance your Kubernetes skills. These challenges are designed to test your understanding of Kubernetes concepts in practical situations. Follow these steps to contribute and participate:

How to Participate

  1. Fork the Repository: Start by visiting our Study-Group-Series repository on GitHub. Fork the repository to your own GitHub account by clicking the "Fork" button in the upper right corner of the repository page.
  2. Clone the Repository: Once you have forked the repository, clone your forked copy to your local machine using the git clone command.
  3. Navigate to Challenges: Inside the cloned repository, go to the "Study Group Challenges" folder. You'll see subfolders organized by challenges, each housing that week's challenge.
  4. Stay Updated: Monitor the dedicated #cka-sg #ckad-sg #cks-sg Discord channel for weekly challenge announcements. If you haven't joined yet, click here to stay informed about the latest challenges.
  5. Work on Your Solution: Read the challenge description and work on your solution. Use your knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and best practices to tackle the problem effectively.
  6. Submit Your Solution: Inside the "Study Group Submissions" folder, find the challenge-specific folder (e.g., "Challenge-1-Responses"). Create a Markdown file with your username (e.g., "user_name.md") to document your solution. You can use the challenge_response_template.md as a guide for formatting your submission.
  7. Commit and Push: Once you have added your solution to the appropriate folder, commit your changes with a descriptive message and push them to your forked repository on GitHub.
  8. Create a Pull Request: Go back to the main Study-Group-Series repository on GitHub. From your forked repository, initiate a pull request. Provide a clear title and description for your pull request, mentioning the week and challenge you are addressing.
