Banner image speed index slow

Slow preload

The banner image does not pre-render before the page loads and the gif format video's dont have explicit width or height

footer malfunction

The footer.js file was set-up correctly but the IDE did not recognize it as a file whose output should be displayed.
Debugging did not work by trying to change file name or type

the exercises button on the navbar malfunctions when your in an exercise page

the button next to he home button is supposed to redirect you back to the exercises section when selected. The button is unresponsive and has no animation or slight highlight to illustrate that it's being selected
