Silk Touch and Fortune

In the original version you were able to move Silk Touch AND Fortune onto the QuarryPlus machines.
That way, on the quarry, you were able to select, which blocks were supposed to be mined with silk touch, and which to be mined with fortune, using the ListEditor.
the PumpPlus, too has different (non exclusive) effects for these enchantments.
It is not possible to do so in the current 1.12.2 build.

Issues with liquid source blocks

The quarry when equipped with a pump does get the source blocks. It still treats the disintegrating non-source blocks as if they were source blocks and tries to pick them up even tho it can't. In order to make drill bit advance beyond them you have to place a block on them to help the liquid decay faster.

[1.12.2] Quarry Plus bug stoped Java

When I send energy with an obstacle in the building range of QuarryPlus frame, all machines are stopped.
When I try to quit Minecraft in this state, the Java Platform will stop. LoiLo recorder using Java was also stopped.
Since Java is down, no crash reports are generated.
Is it possible to fix it?

Can't dig Twilight Forest buildings

QuarryPlus and ChunkDestroyer can't dig buildings in Twilight Forest such as Lich Tower, Labyrinth and Dark Tower because of being not achieved the Advancements added by the mod.
The machines use fakeplayer, a dummy player for automation, which has Advancements just like normal players. The mod checks whether the players have completed advancements for the dungeon.

Specific Workbench Plus recipe configurability

I don't see any mention of this mod in the Crafttweaker wiki, and the config does not seem to offer a way to control specifically which items a machine requires to build using the workbench. Some sort of way to control exactly which items and how many of each are required to build each machine would be useful.

Hopper extracts fuel from Solid Fuel Quarry

If I use a hopper or other extraction device with the solid fuel quarry, it quickly empties the items that the quarry is using as fuel, causing it to shut down rather quickly.

Crush when machine is placed. Not Buildcraft installed.

Remove machines with wrench

Now you can remove machines by pickaxe and wrench from Thermal Foundation and IC2.

It'll be good if you can use wrenches from other mods to remove machines. Wrench usually implements either or both BC's API and CoFHCore's API.

Suggestion - Solid Fuel Quarry

Could you add a quarry that runs directly off solid fuel (aka coal, wood, charcoal) at a fixed speed?

Reason for this I'm working on a mod pack that has a progression on the quarry, and solid fuel quarry would be the entry tier.
I am using a different mod that has functionality, but QuarryPlus looks more impressive.

Frame mode stopped halfway

I've got some problems with my QuarryPlus. It stopped making the frame halfway. It's in frame mode, it is getting about 1500-1600RF/t and it doesn't move. I'm using Magmatic Dynamos to power it with EnderIO conduits.

Add JEI recipe of EnchantMover

Adding JEI page allows user to get how to use the machine in game. Players want to know its recipe and how it works on JEI. Dummy recipes for machine help them.

Replacer

So, in regards to Milii20's request with the Replacer, it's an awesome block, but like you had stated in the Wiki, with regards to the replacer it's really OP therefore it's disabled by default. But what if, you had to constantly feed the blocks you wanted to replace into the Replacer or it won't replace the blocks the quarry mines? That way, it can't be exploited to be used as an infinite ore generator.

Problem with BC API

Due to the change in this page,

Fix all API names having uppercase characters. The old scheme was "BuildCraftAPI|", and the new scheme is "buildcraftapi_".

this mod doesn't provide any function related to BuildCraft.

Suggestions/Enhancements

  1. Combine Solid Fuel Quarry and Powered Quarry into one block.

So, keeping the original Solid Quarry as an early game option, what if, when you got the Powered Quarry you could power it with Solid Fuels the same way? The fuel it burns would fill up an Internal Power Buffer as it burns, a Buffer that can't be extracted from, only inserted into.

  1. Modules

Instead of having dedicated blocks that you have to place down next to the Quarry, why not replace them with Module Items? Like for instance, in other mods you'd right click on the machine and open a GUI, then it would have Upgrade Slots. Well, in Additional Enchanted Miner, why not have slots in the machines where you can install them as Modules? Also, why not have the Modules work in more than just the Quarry, like for Example, say you turn the QuarryPump into a "Pump Module", What if you could insert that into the Mining Well? If the Mining Well strikes Water or Lava, why not have the Mining Well suck it up into an internal tank only enabled by the Pump Module?

  1. Experience Pump Changes

So, this kind of goes with the second suggestion, since the Experience Pump sucks up Experience Orbs, why not have it convert the Experience Orbs into xpjuice that can be pumped out of the Machine with the additional functionality that you can press a button within the machine's GUI to get all the Experience Stored in the Machine? The machine could have two different Fluid Tanks, one for regular fluids, the other for xpjuice.

  1. Enchantment Slots in Machines

So, it's great to be able to have the EnchantMover Blocks, but what if instead of having to use a dedicated block to move the Enchantments over and over again, why not add Slots in the machines to add Enchantments to it? Say you can only apply up to 3 Enchantments at once per Machine to make it Balanced. Like, you can only insert 3 different enchanted books at one time.

  1. Y-Setter Changes

Instead of having a Y-Setter item, why not have the ability to change the Y level within the Machine's GUI? Also, showing the current Y level within the Machine's GUI would also be a nice change.

  1. Name Change.

Okay, so, since QuarryPlus or Additional Enchanted Miner is no longer an addon for Buildcraft and the mod is kind of swaying away from BC, why not name it something else that reflects what the mod actually is? Additional Enchanted Miner implies it's an Addon for a Mod rather than a Standalone Mod with no dependencies.

[Suggestion] Plus Machine Torch Placer Module

So, we all know that once the Quarry is done, it leaves a HUGE hole in the ground, which, if you're using the Quarry underground can be a breeding ground for Monsters. How the Torch Placer Module would work is once the Quarry Reaches the bottom layer or whatever layer was set on the Y Setter is it would place Torches on that layer where the light level is on or below light level 7.

Tile is reset when work has done.

With

  • BuildCraft 7.99.24.1

When QuarryPlus with BC's pipe connected finishs its work, the enchantments of the machine disappear.
The bug does not happen when item conduit from Ender IO is connected to extract items. Only connecting BC pipe causes this bug.
How to set the area, using marker plus or default area, doesn't matter.

I have a couple of requests, what about an addon for the Quarry that's kind of like the pump, but it pulls in experience instead, like you know how if you mine the material with a regular pickaxe you can get the experience per item you mine, well for example the Quarry could be mining items, some items would need the auto-smelt enchantment to get the experience like Iron for example where that item has to be smelted, but other items that don't need to be smelted the quarry could get the experience whether it has the enchantment or not and the Insight enchantment from Thermal Foundation could stack onto that. But the only way the quarry would mine with experience is if you had that specific block hooked up to it, like how the pumpplus works with the Quarry. Lastly, the Experience could be collected from the XP Block by right clicking on it. Oh, and can you make the Spawner Controller compatible with modded spawners like Draconic Evolution's Stabilized Mob Spawner, the auto-spawner from Industrial foregoing, and Ender IO's Powered Spawner? Also, lastly could you make an option for the Chunk Destroyer to save the bedrock it mines into it's Inventory(Configurable of course)? Please and thank you. I love your mod.

  3. do not put an inventory above it
  4. power it
  5. let it run and accumulate blocks in the internal buffer
  6. break it in survival
  7. all the blocks in it's buffer become quarryplus's
  8. profit!!!

The issue doesn't exist in single player

Implement Refinery

Implement Refinery Plus as a plus machine of BC Distiller, which has 3 tanks - 1 is for input and others are for output - and uses max 6 MJ/t.

Ender Quarry-ish

Greetings, first, i am loving the mod, and if possible i would like to make a suggestion

a quarry which works like the ender quarry from extra utilities in 1.7.10 (since i havent seen anyone making it again, and got replaced by the quantum quarry in extra utilities 2), it would be basically a normal quarryplus (maybe the basic version can be as fast as a fully enchanted quarry plus, and then you can place enchants on top of it?) but, everything it mines it replaces it with dirt and grass

maybe it can sit in a sort of middle of the road in cost between the quarryplus and the chunk destroyer?

Change Quarry mode name.

"Filler mode" may make everyone confuse. Change it to other name.
When you right click quarry, it sends you a message of changing its mode. It has no mean. Add code preventing quarry from changing its mode when working.

Something odd with the chunk destroyer

Greetings, i updated from 0.9.22 to 0.10.0, and my chunk destroyer started doing this weird pattern instead of digging the entire chunk

(For some context: on the Aroma mining world, but i already tried even on the overworld and had the same results, going back to 0.9.22 aparently fixes it)
