Huge Hassio snapshot after adding Homegear

I love this plugin. At last I am able to use my MAX devices without problems. Thank you for that!

Ever since I have added the plugin the size of my snapshots have increased in size dramatically. When I open the snapshot, I see that Homegear alone is 203Mb in size. The whole snapshot is 308Mb, so Homegear alone takes up 2/3 of the snapshot size.

I use:

  • Raspberyy Pi 3B
  • System | HassOS 3.12
  • Home Assistant 0.106.5

Homegear add-no no longer starts after 0.72.0 update on RPI4 (64 bits)

Devices not detected by HA after reboot

I am using a Pi 3B with a fresh install of Hassio. Homegear is installed and working, I am talking to my cube and I have been able to link 4*TRV’s using Homematic Manager.

However when I reboot the Pi (after changing configuration.yaml) the TRV’s are not found automatically by Home Assistant.

However, if I restart just HA server, via Configuration - Server Controls, then HA finds the TRV’s.

If I reboot the Pi, the TRV’s are greyed out and unavailable until I restart HA server.

It seems like a timing issue, as it HA is starting before Homegear and so not detecting the TRV’s. Have you seen anything like this or have any ideas what I might have done wrong?

HM-MOD-RPI-PCB: Failed to set GPIO with index "1"

Hello,

can anyobody help me out if that should work with HM-MOD-RPI-PCB? I am able to receive my device values like switch states and climate temperature/mode, but cannot send anything. I got:
12/26/18 14:42:49.855 Failed to set GPIO with index "1": Device not open.

no max.conf in homegear/families/

Hi,

I installed your addon to use it with a flashed MaxCube.
As suggested in this post I wanted to update the max.conf file. via samba share.

I dont now what i am missing:
The file max.conf is missing and instead all files in the homegear folder seem to be of the kind
homegear-start.sh.dpkg-new

I am an absolut beginner: what i understood, is that those files are not usable directly in hassio, since all addons are docker containers.

what do i have to do to get this addon up and running?

thanks a lot!
