Deiman is a Python utility class for daemonizing a process. It provides start and stop methods, as well as a method for retrieving running status information. Linux/Unix-only.

• I'm an bitslinger/engineer working on the BIDI (BBC Internet Distribution Infrastructure) content delivery network for the BBC.

• I have also written some tools for reading data from TP-Link Tapo P110 smart plugs for ingesting via Telegraf.

deiman's Issues

pip installation failed

There is no LICENSE file in the package hosted on pypi. So "pip install deiman" fails with following message:

File ".... build/deiman/setup.py", line 17, in
license=open('LICENSE').read(),
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'LICENSE'

Please update your package on pypi.
