Admin page error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory

Hi!. I know this is sort of a legacy archive now, but perhaps I might find help somewhere.

Some context:
I've been trying to make my own DWC server for my own testing. It's been a pain.
I've searched everywhere and after half a day of installing and uninstalling scripts I finally got working the suggested CoWFC installer.
I got around Dolphin not connecting the DWC server too by pure luck I guess, as previously it didn't even connect on my host system.

The actual problem:
When attempting to fetch http://***/?page=admin&section=Dashboard, a PHP error page is returned: "There was an error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory".
Running on a clean install of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on WSL. Followed the suggested CoWFC script installer.

Why fix it?:
The main website works and the Dolphin <---> Server connection works, but spits out error 23800, which requires to set the ID3 of MKWII on the server to work. As the admin panel is non-functional, the ID3 cannot be set up, and thus cannot connect to the DWC.

Can't download in game .myg files put inside dlc folder

I created my own server and i'm able to download .myg that already exist inside dlc folder.
But is there something i need to change to add personal .myg files inside dlc folder? Everytime i try to download some .myg in game i get "Comunication Error". I tryed also changing the order of the existing ones, changing lines order inside _list.txt file. But i get always the same error. Am i doing something wrong?

Unrelated Question

Should the CoWFC installer use this instead of the original by mh9924?

Getting error 23404

Hi,

I'm running a lan server on 14.04 and I can't seem to get it working. Running it on a clean 14.04 vm with network bridge, I get error 23404. I have tried changing the nas_server.py ip address to 0.0.0.0:80 but then I get error 20100. Not really sure what to do now.
