RENTIX is Car Rental application

RENTIX

RENTIX is web application that based on vanilla PHP & HTML & CSS & Bootstrap & Ajax & Javascript and using sql data base phpmyadmin using mix of image representation of Blob and Text.

Some Features :

• The system should be able to register a new car (model, year, plate id, etc.) and update car status (active, out of service, rented, etc.)
• Customers will be able to reserve their cars from anywhere in the world via this system (Multiple offices).
• Customers provide information to this application by filling in their personalinformation to create an account and then he or she can reserve a car.
• The proposed system effectively and efficiently automates manual procedures for car reservation (reserve, pick up, return, payment, etc.).
• Customers are aided by your system to search the available cars by any of the car specs according to their needs.
• System should be able to make advanced search which is searching by any of the car information, customer information or reservation day and get all information about the car, customer and reservation.
• All reservations within a specified period including all car and customer information.
• All reservations of any car within a specified period including all car information.
• The status of all cars on a specific day.
• All reservations of specific customer including customer information, car model and plate id.
• Daily payments within specific period.

Prerequisites

Apache Server: Ensure you have Apache installed on your machine. You can download it from here.

PHP: RENTIX is built on PHP, so make sure you have PHP installed. You can download it from here.

MySQL Database: Set up a MySQL database and configure it with phpMyAdmin for seamless data management.

Installation Steps

• Clone the Repository:

git clone https://github.com/kyrillosishak/RENTIX.git

• Navigate to the Project Directory:

cd RENTIX

• Database Setup:

Import the provided SQL file (rentix_database.sql) into your MySQL database using phpMyAdmin.

• Update Configuration:

Update the database connection details in the config.php file.

• Access RENTIX:

Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost to start using RENTIX.
