Color behaving erratically

Given a hue shift of zero, two elements that should be the same color are not.

Transformation of Hue should be (+/-)360 degree

The range of Hue in HSB is from 0 to 360 degree, but I can only enter 0 to 100 percent in the chain.
Which means Hue will transform every 3.6 degrees, I cannot control Hue precisely.

Most of the links to this plugin don't work

This has nothing to do with the plugin, but it took a bit of effort to find an actual link to this page. I thought the plugin had been taken down at first.

All of the articles and sites that link to this plugin don't have the updated link, and there's no 301 redirect. You guys are probably missing a lot of new users because of this.

Include the example Sketch files

Really cool Sketch plugin you've created.

Could you commit some of the example Sketch files you show in the README? It would be great if users could test your plugin immediately with a handy example file.

Distinguish linked objects from the layer list

First of all – awesome plugin, really great idea.

I feel that a way to quickly discern which layers are linked would be awesome. Maybe designating a random emoji to each chain and pre-/appending it to the layer name?

Chain does nothing

Hi,

I'm running Sketch 46 (44423) with Chain v0.9.1 on macOS Sierra 10.12.5.

Basically Chain does nothing. The Console doesn't log anything connected to Chain.

I created a new file with two 100x100 rectangles named "white" and "black" on a 100x200 Artboard with background colours matching the rectangle names. File saved as "chain". White at 0,0 and black at 0,100. I select both rectangles, create a new chain with following settings: Hue, white is reference, Fill radio button selected, 0 in transformation field and Fill checkbox checked. Everything according to your video. Nothing happens.

HSL support enhancement

Would it be possible to update for sketch 53 and include support for HSL? HSL is used with sass so would be ver useful.

Plugin Not Chaining shapes

Spec:
Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6
Sketchapp 45.2

Steps:

1. Create 3 shape and select them
2. Plugins > Chain > New Chain
3. Chaining dialog setings:

4. Click on "Chain" and nothing has changed

Linking all color properties

Is there a practical reason why you can only link the Hue, Saturation, Brightness or Alpha and not all of these?
If you could link all of these with a separate option it would make this a pretty powerful color management tool. Rather than making multiple chains, one for each aspect of the color.

instructions for using the plugin ?

I am not an IOS developer and I am trying to figure out how to use the plugin. Any ideas ?

Bug - Chain is not functioning in Sketch

Hi @lalomrtnz – thanks for putting your time and effort into what looks like a great plugin. And congratulations on getting featured on ProductHunt!

I seem to be having an issue with Chain where I can install the plugin but the Chain window does not appear after clicking Plugins > Chain > New Chain (or any option).

I have reinstalled the plugin, restarted my computer and sketch, disabled all plugins except Chain, and have updated Sketch. I am on the latest version of Sketch (45.2).

the plugin is not working for me.

STR:

• Create 3 rectangles
• Select all 3 rectangles
• Run Chain with hue, 0 value, fill
• nothing happens

Chain not working on some Sketch docs

Chain will function (i.e. shift colors of elements based on parent, although this also is behaving strangely, as noted in another issue) on some sketch docs, but not on other sketch documents. This persists even after I try to "update" chains.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as restarting Sketch. Running sketch 46.2.
