Bonjour,
Cordialement
Reported by "Jake dev" :
I found your mini_sna.sh script would crash when trying to set an LO above the 2147483647 hz (I was attempting 3 GHz and noticed it wouldn’t work).
Modifying line 289 in pow.c (replace atoi by atof)
lo_mhz = (long long) atof(optarg);
Seems to solve the issue :
before :
user@myPC:~/pow_pluto$ ./pow -g 40 -f 5 -l 3320000000
Error -22 writing to channel "frequency"
value may not be supported.
after :
user@myPC:~/pow_pluto$ ./pow -g 40 -f 5 -l 5320003001
5320003001 25.72 102.75
user@myPC:~/pow_pluto$ ./pow -g 40 -f 5 -l 3320003001
3320003001 24.74 96.75
Hi LamaBleu,
thank you for your work with the Pluto SDR. It's a great piece of hardware and you make it even more interesting. Sorry for creating a github issue to actually ask questions, I hope you're fine with it...
After some reading, I realized I have a rev.B with 32MB flash only, so I will not be able to use your firmware (or at least the full version).
Question 1 : Is there an up to date "light" version that I can use, and did you list differences with full version somewhere (sorry I could not find this infomation).
In the same taste, would it be possible to share your work on fimware development using github ?
That would be much easier for finding documentation, managing versions/releases, and also allow collaborative work with 'pull requests' or 'forks'.
Question 2 : I am not very good with linux, but my "wish" would be to develop a fairly light firmware mostly focused on dependencies (python, soapy, libiio, gnuplot + libpng, busybox, boost?), and put all cross-compiled binaries (and bootup script) on a USB stick.
In your opinion, is this something doable and valuable ?
Could you help to complete a list of dependencies that might be useful to integrate in the firmware (SDR focused and general utilities ) ?
Question 3 : Would it be preferable to actually put the full filesystem on USB stick (and get a 'super super light' fw in flash) ?
Last question(s):
I found this document: https://wiki.analog.com/university/tools/pluto/building_the_image
Is this what you started from ?
Would you recommend some other documents or tutorials to get started with firmware customization ?
Did you maybe share instructions or how-to somewhere ?
Thank you very much for your help, your work is really appreciated !
Romain.
Hi.
the readme says:
I cannot find the NFS subfolder in the plutoscripts ?
Mounting from the Pluto ends with error message mounting failed, no such device, the same command from a raspberry Pi does mount the network drive to the given folder
Any ideas ?
