PERSCOM

A realism unit personnel and operational management tool built by the 3rd Infantry Division.

PERSCOM is a versatile soldier management tool built by the 3rd Infantry Division to help realism/milsim based clans manage soldiers, track enlistment and improve operational efficiencies. The system contains many features that help units reduce "clutter" work and helps all members get back to what matters most, the game and its associated community. PERSCOM is constantly evolving and new features are being released regularly.

Installation

1. Upload everything inside the /upload folder to the root folder of your IPB installation.
2. Login to your IPB Admin CP and click on Manage Applications & Modules on the left hand side.
3. Click Install on the right hand side to install PERSCOM. Click Continue to proceed with the installation.
4. Once the application has finished installing, proceed to the application settings. Click on the PERSCOM tab under System Settings. Click on General Settings.
5. Enter your license key that you received with the purchase of PERSCOM. Click Save when you are done editing the settings. You can find your license key under the Client Area - Purchases section of the 3rd Infantry Division website.
6. PERSCOM is successfully installed. Proceed to your homepage and click on the PERSCOM tab to enter the application.

Upgrading

If you are upgrading your current version of PERSCOM, follow the step-by-step directions below to update your copy.

1. Visit the Downloads portion of the 3rd Infantry Division website to download the latest version of PERSCOM.
2. After your download has finished, upload the contents of the /upload folder to the root folder of your IPB installation.
3. Once the upload has completed, proceed to the Admin Control Panel of your website. You will be prompted by an upgrade screen.
4. Login and follow the instructions to perform the upgrade. Once the upgrade is complete, you will be returned to your website.

• Please note, upgrading your copy of PERSCOM will update the template and skin files on your website. If you have made changes to your template via the Admin CP, the changes will not be seen unless you revert the template to it's original. Original templates have a black dot next to them. Modified templates have a red dot next to them. If you would like to see the changes from the upgrade, click "Revert" on all templates with a red dot.

Support

Support can be found by proceeding to the the Client Area - Support section of the 3rd Infantry Division website and clicking on Purchases on the left hand side. You may then request support by filling out the form under "Support Request" and clicking Submit.

The Third Infantry Division does NOT offer support to clients that have otherwise modified or changed the original product to meet their needs.
