Hey there, stranger! 👋

I'm Jonh Alexis, your friendly neighborhood (spiderman) developer. You may call me Lex, Alex (the lion), Alexis, or Jonh. I became a developer simply because of boredom, and well wanting to take control of the driving force of the digital era.

Fell into the rabbit hole of of Software Engineering, and now I'm stuck (AGHHHHHHH!) and addicted to it.

📖 About Me

• 🎓 I'm currently taking up a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
• 😎 I'm a curious cat, so I easily get interested into a lot of things, and well fall into a lot of rabit hole.
• 👽 I enjoy problem solving, since it makes me feel accomplished.
• ⚡ Aside from coding, I enjoy playing games on my spare time, as well as photography, and editing.
• 😋 I also enjoy road trips and food trips.
• 😵 Easily gets side-tracked when given the power of customization; hence, why I have these ⚙ configs.

⬆ Currently Doing

• 🌱 Currently, I'm interested in learning more about optimizing code (I know premature optimization is the root of all evil, but it's fun).
• 🌱 Also, quite interested in learning Machine Learning and AI for 2024, especially with regards to making Stable Diffusion Videos consistent.
• 🥅 My goal for 2024 is to find a job (hopefully 🤞), since the best way to learn is to work.
• 🔭 I'm also looking into Cyber Security and Game Development.
• 👋 I'm also looking into contributing to open-source projects this year.

pan's Issues

Order Issues

• Must validate if stock is enough for Product Purchase
• Must validate the array passed as a body for the request, it shouldn't allow an empty array
• Must validate whether the passed value for the product_id of details is valid
• Create Views for the SQL queries

Employee Issue

• date_employed should not be editable if the editor is an employee

Product Issues

• Should return the amount available in stock when product is GET, as well as the category name of the product
• Should also return category name of the product

Employee Update Validation

Employees when editing their details should not get an email already exists error if the email belongs to their account

Category ID validation when creating Products

When adding products make sure to validate for the valid category ids

Reports Module

• Look into the implementation of reports, most of these are just GET requests in an endpoint such as /api/v1/reports/:name
• Make use of VIEWS in SQL to generate the data for the reports beforehand, probably store the views in a separate file like pan_db_vw.sql
• Look into this package on converting javascript objects to XSLX

Product and Stock Validation

• Employees should only be able to edit stock, and products they created

**NOTE: ** Ignore this for now, since this takes quite some time to implement.

Stock Issues

• Stock should validate product_id, and supplier_id if they exist in the database
