Forum registration link is never sent

I'm putting that here knowing this is not the right place. I tried to reach LattePanda with all possible ways and I got no response. So, I'm opening a public issue here.

It's impossible to register to the LattePanda forum. The confirmation link is never sent, this issue is highly impacting since it defeats all the community aspects.

Please fix that.

PS: The links are not in the trash folder, I tried with multiple emails (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook), with no effect.

Cannot find Windows 10 disc image file for Sigma

Hi guys,
Quick question? Where is the image for Windows 10 for the Sigma? It seems that there is only a Win 11 image. I was expecting to see something similar to the Delta:

Need recommendation for Battery pack and UPS HAT board for lattepanda V1 in docs and idea for v2 lattepanda

You have provided battery pack recommendations for lattepanda alpha and delta. But you have not provided a recommendation for a power bank for lattepanda v1 with micro usb charging. I really want to use it as a portable device for my purpose . But i dont know which is a reliable power bank for the v1 for that use. Need to use a hdmi display with good resolution (1600x1200) . If you could put a power bank recommendation for the v1 lattepanda in the docs that would be great. And also want an idea to put across the team. I am really waiting for you to put up the next v2 of the original lattepanda with a usb-c charging in it like you have for the more expensive alpha and delta. So they can be easily powered with usb -c charging power banks. And also If you could build a UPS-HAT boards like there are for raspberry pi for the normal lattepanda this would work best for my use case and there would be no problems of power fluctuations and power faliure problems leading to bios corruption. Dont you think the v1 lattepanda should be updated with newer specs and without being so high powered as an alpha . Its already 2019. IF you can build this v2 lattepanda with type c charging , ups HAT board and power bank recommendation it would really solve my problem. I would buy this right now. Even if the combination of it is 150$ or 200$ or even 250$.

If you can fit the lattepanda and hat board within a custom case that would be best. Like nobody has this combination in the x86 world . Only there is this combination in the arm world with raspberry pi.

If you can come out with a lattepanda which has a built in battery and usb-c charging that would be good also

Please consider making this board.

Sigma: TPM not found with Rocky Linux

Just noticed this in my boot logs..

I'm running Rocky Linux 9.3. Any clues on how to resolve this?

LattePanda site link is broken

Currently lattepanda site links on google search results are broken . They give nginx errors.And mostly redirect to dfrobot.com. I am not able to reach the forums.Please fix it.

SPI

Hi,

i can't figure out how to solve the following issues:

1. how can i address the Header Pins from LP side (I2C, USB etc //without using Arduino of course)
2. how to use the Arduino SPI with my Visual Stduio Projekt in C#.
   The provided Firmata are only supporting I2C if im reading correctly. Is there any upgraded Firmata for SPI available?
   Can you tell me, what i have to do to make it work?

Alpha dxf/dwg file. Have step, need dxf for accurate mating pcb generation

Working on a Open Source Ventilator using LattePanda Alpha to respond to the COVID-19 crisis. We have the Alpha step file that was uploaded in 2018, we need the dxf file to accurately generate the mating board that will host the sensor and motor control electronics.

install windows 10 on delta nvme

Unable to install Windows OS to SSD on Latte Panda 3 Delta

Hi,
I am trying to install Windows 10 IoT to an SSD attached to my Latte Panda 3 Delta. Unfortunately the installation always fail because the internal disk cannot be found.
As seen in the photo below, I have disabled the onboard eMMC storage storage as suggested here . Other than that, I have formatted the SSD to be GPT and it is present as seen through the Diskpart utility.

What am I missing here? Thanks in advance for your help.

Is there any information about the weights of Latte Panda boards, specifically Alpha and Delta boards? It is important for us to know that info before buying.

So i fired up my jDownloader and downloaded a licensed version of Windows 10 Enterprise

Now I really want to see how I install the dirt without a brick......

So what do you do as a diehard nerd?

sigma and IOMMU groups

Hi,

I have a question relative to virtualization on sigma.

i5-1340P supports vt-d however it is only usable if IOMMU groups are properly defined which is rarely the case. Most of the time, most if not all peripherals/component are in the same group making vt-d useless.

Can you tell me how are defined IOMMU groups on sigma ? If you don't have the informations, this can be done with this script

Alpha Win10 Drivers

After installing an m.2 SSD I am trying to install win10 on it.

But in the Windows install manager I get the message:

"A media driver your computer needs is missing......."

So its not very helpful when you write us to install the Intel Driver & Support Assistant since this is not possible without a working windows installation. Can please someone provide the missing drivers so we are able to install win10 on the Alpha (I bought it to run windows.....)
