Update grunt-laxar version

Currently the grunt-laxar version inside the package.json file created by this template points to ~0.5.2. Unfortunately this version does not yet work properly on Windows.

The latest version is 0.7.0 and contains some fixes that address this problem so we should use that one (or better: any 0.x).

Use application title instead of application name for page title

The index.html and the debug.html should have the application title in the title tag.

require_config: shim jquery dependency for some modules

The modules trunk8, bootstrap-tooltip and bootstrap-affix used by LaxarJS UiKit need jquery before being loaded:

Shim config for the application is missing, so these modules may fail randomly (in debug mode only).

Update Gruntfile.js/application.js (was: enable embedContents option)

The default Gruntfile and application.js should support embedded widget specifications as well as embedded templates.

Gruntfile: decouple watcher configuration from file listings

Since the template overhaul (v0.3.0) all resource watching is tied to the generation of directory listings, and only covers listed files. There should be separate watcher configuration for libraries and application artifacts.

Add missing LICENSE

The application template (not the generated app) is missing a LICENSE

Gruntfile: exclude widget SCSS from live reload

We need to add an exclusion for *.scss files so that changes to them do not trigger an application live reload (instead, only their generated CSS will be refreshed by the browser).

.gitignore: Add `bower_components` entry

We should add bower_components to the ignore list.

Gruntfile: minify requirejs for production build

Currently, the index.html uses the source-version of RequireJS. We should minify and prepend it to the optimized_init.js.

Adjust require_config.js when jQuery UI is updated

Due to the changes introduced by LaxarJS/laxar-uikit#73 the require_config.js needs to be adjusted. Within the paths configuration the following

Update template for LaxarJS v1.0.0

The application template needs to be modified because of:

• LaxarJS/grunt-laxar#39
• LaxarJS/grunt-laxar#29
• LaxarJS/laxar#180
• LaxarJS/laxar#88

Also, the latest ^1.0.0-alpha.* LaxarJS artifacts should be specified as dependencies in the bower- and npm-configuration.

These are mostly breaking changes, so we need to branch off master-0.x before implementing them.

Prepare for usage of bower modules used by refactored JSON validator

The JSON validator included in the core module of LaxarJS will be refactored and use jjv to do the actual validation jobs (LaxarJS/laxar#31). This requires the addition of jjv and jjve (message generator for jjv results) as path entries to the require_config.js.

Add bootstrap affix control

Gruntfile: `controls.json` for non-uikit controls not embedded in file listings

Use better labels and icons

New users should see a visibly working application the first time that they visit the development server of a newly created application, so that they can learn by example and tinker around.

Also, this helps to QA future changes to the template and to laxar/grunt-laxar by quickly producing a fresh app for testing.

jshintrc wrongly allows too many globals

As an example assert is allowed, which isn't globally available but needs to be imported.

configuration: set event_bus.timeout_ms respecting debug/release mode

The new event_bus.timeout_ms configuration setting that was added with LaxarJS/laxar#140 allows to select appropriate values depending on the application mode (development, production).

We should set a short timeout for development, and a large timeout for production.

package.json: bump version of `grunt-laxar` dependency

The template uses a pretty outdated grunt-laxar.

Upgrade template for new-style controls

We should upgrade the LaxarJS application template to reflect the following changes:

• LaxarJS/laxar#197
• LaxarJS/grunt-laxar#55
• LaxarJS/laxar#133
• LaxarJS/laxar-patterns#39
• The file listing patterns in the Gruntfile should be cleaned up and simplified.
