twelveish's Introduction

Rokas Jankunas

Hello, my name is Rokas Jankunas and I'm a tech enthusiast and a Software Engineer, specialising in Java tech stack. My personal projects have been featured on major tech news websites such as Gizmodo, Lifehacker, Android Authority, and XDA-Developers. Feel free to connect with me to discuss tech, explore my projects, or just say hello.

A special thank you:

Welcome to my GitHub page! While it may seem a bit dormant, rest assured that the projects within hold a special place in my journey as a developer. Over time, my focus has shifted towards work, university commitments, and ongoing personal education, causing me to prioritize other aspects of my professional and academic life.

Due to the lack of recent updates, this page is now an archive of my past. Some (or most) of my projects here were developed during my high school years or before my professional journey began, reflecting my self-taught roots. Consequently, you may notice that some projects, especially those born out of my exploration of new technologies, don't quite meet the coding standards I now uphold.

I want to be transparent about the state of my GitHub, as some projects may be archived, and the code might not be up to the standards I currently strive for. Nevertheless, they still showcase my growth and learning journey, and could potentially be useful for some.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if there's a particular project that piques your interest. You can find me using the links below.

twelveish's Issues

Wrong capitalization in the German prefixes

Hi,

this is only a cosmetic grammar issue but because it is not covered by the current capitalization options, this might count as a bug instead of a German translation error. 🤔

In German we begin all nouns with a capital letter and this applies to the word "Viertel" from the German prefixes:

<string-array name="PrefixesDE">

kurz nach

bald viertel nach

fast viertel nach

viertel nach

bald halb

kurz vor halb

kurz nach halb

bald viertel vor

fast viertel vor

viertel vor

bald

fast

Here is a nice overview of how that prefix is used in the right way: https://www.dict.cc/?s=Viertel+vor

I don't know if this should be a new option for the capitalization menu of if this should be an exception for all existing capitalization options but in its current state it just looks wrong for German speakers. 😏

Logo proposal

hello, I would like to offer you a new logo for your project.
What do you think? im a designer glad to contribute open source projects, so if you agree I can start with some ideas, we can work together until we found what fits perfect with this project.

Russian localization errors

Russian localization is a bit wrong.
We never say 'час с половиной', we say 'пол второго'.
I use version 2.3.2 (beta).

Italian localization

When it's around midnight, the clock says "mezzogiorno" instead of "mezzanotte".

Settings Icon in WearOS Phone App

Uploading Screenshot_20200916-164021.jpg …

Hello,

Your watch face is awesome, I love it.

It's the first watch face that is exposing a settings screen from the WearOS companion app.

Few questions

 • How do you do this?
 • Can you please expose some of the watch face settings via this UI?

Thanks

Matt

time round

When the time is 11:34 (for example)
The watch says "Half past Elevenish" it switches to "Half past Eleven or so" when it is 11:35.
Wouldn't it be more logical to show "Half past Eleven or so" when it is between 11:33 and 11: 37?
This also counts for more time text.

Spanish: shows erroneous text

hi, I think it's a Spanish translation problem.
When the minute hand is between 10 and 14, it shows <almost the "HH" and ten> and should show <almost the "HH" and quarter>.
for example in the attached photo are 20:12 and the text should be: casi las ocho y cuarto
