how to install

Hi, is this a working solution? How can I install it?

upgrade to a newer version?

The original recast is now 1.5.1 released in 2016:
This is the first release of the Recast and Detour libraries since August 2009

layzerar/recastlib uses the old version 1.4 from 2009.

Any chance for the update of layzerar/recastlib?

layzerar/recastlib works awesome, except there are issues in large rooms or in some specific geometries. I can provide the details if that's necessary, but I am quite sure that the problem is deeply inside the Detour internals, so an upgrade to 1.5.1 would be a way to go.

How to calculate distance along the path to final destination

The result from a query is the path from the origin to the destination. The path consists of a set of points which allows averting obstacles.
I would like to calculate the distance along this path. It seems trivial, however when the distance is too long the path is limited to the predefined number of points.
How can I calculate the distance from the origin to the destination regardless of the distance or number of mid-points?
The problem: There are two exit doors from a building. I would like to find the closest one using recastlib.
