Feature request: Hotkey to bookmark current tree

First of all, my thanks and appreciation for such a useful extension! ❤️
Bridging Tree Style Tabs and bookmarks is a direction I really long for.
This suggestion is in no way a demanding one, mostly for discussion and as a reminder for myself.

Currently, the only way to bookmark a tree via keyboard is to do F6, Shift-Tab till current tab element is focused, Menu key or Shift-F10, then use the accelerator key (which can be customized in extension settings). I might map this using AHK or similar tools, but native solution is preferred for robustness and crossplatform compatibility.

There is even a native hotkey configuration screen in Firefox [Nightly] now.

I assume this is a small change, I might even try to tackle it, if stars align.

Maintain trees as nested folders

When I have multiple levels of nested tabs, I would like for the bookmarks to preserve the entire tree, rather than flatten them into a list with separators.

Interested in supporting workspaces as an additional feature?

Hi.
A few weeks ago I created this discussion on TST's repo. Basically, it is about supporting a "workspace" feature utilizing the bookmarking loading/saving features. In short, in this view, a workspace is an automatically synced bookmark folder (between opened tabs and bookmark), maybe with its own name.

Do you have any interest in adding this feature? It may be a very nice addition for a general extension which manipulates the tree-style-tab-aware bookmark (that not only supports TST).

My quick attempt (in implementing from scratch) found that the ability to save tree-style-aware bookmarks is a missing API for TST. So this project may be a good starting point, as it already has most parts.

Not all tabs loaded

There is a problem where I have 96 tabs, but the add-on only opens 81 of them.

I suppose this is not expected behaviour.

Container support

Tree is restored to unloaded default container, but structure will break once loaded if using containers site rules

Addon does not work on private browsing

Thank you for the great addon. I want to report that it works fine on firefox except when private browsing.

Feature Request: Drag to Bookmarks Manager

Would be really nice if when I dragged a tree into the bookmarks manager, instead of just a list of tabs I got the tree structure

Feature Request: Setting for bookmarks destination directory

This plugin is a saver for me, thank you so much for putting your time into creating it.

I have a few suggestions to make it even a bit better. One of them would be to allow user to configure the default destination of the bookmark being created (currently it just goes to "Other Bookmarks", where it is not very easily accessible. It would be also nice to allow user to change this default to something elsen (as well as the name of the bookmark) at the time of creating that particular bookmark (all this is basically saying: "do it same as the Tree Style Tab plugin does for its "Bookmark This Tree" context menu option).

Offtopic

Do not want to spam you with gazillion of issues, so I will just summarise the other suggestions here:

It would be very nice to be able to bookmark all tabs of the current window by adding new item into Tree Style Tab context menu displayed on right click on the area without tabs (maybe I just did not get the way how it is supposed to be done with Multiple Tab Handler?).

Also, it would be extremely nice to have some auto-save of all tabs in all trees and all windows - this may be inflating the functionality of the plugin turning it effectively into session manager, but that is exactly what I am looking for and this plugin comes by far the closest to that of them all.

Feature Request: Copy Tree to Clipboard, Open tree from clipboard

I want to be able to capture a tree of tabs into an external document via the clipboard, (such as evernote or similar) and to be able to open them again from the clipboard.

My suggestion would be to use markdown headlines and links for the structure, as that is the most common format:
