Cookies and other headers are not forwarded

When nginx fetches the url that's being pushed some headers are missing. Most importantly the Cookies and Referer header. This breaks redirects to pages that rely on a cookie or referer header value.

Convert package

As noted in this ticket , it's preferable to just release this as a 3rd party package. This means:

• Add setup.{py,cfg}/README/Manifest/etc.
• Add tests
• Release to PyPI
• ...

Safari won't load some redirects that are being pushed

If a redirect chain ends up redirecting to an external website Safari won't load the final page.

Let's say you have the following redirect chain:

/foo/ -> /bar/ -> https://www.apple.com/

With the Http2ServerPushRedirectMiddleware enabled the first redirect (/foo/ -> /bar/) will be pushed. The second redirect (/bar/ -> https://www.apple.com/) won't be. This works fine in every browser except Safari. When navigating to the first url in the chain the browser seems to freeze and the final page will never be loaded.
