espace's Issues

add vocabulary plugin

- Provide vocabulary drop-down list for dc:rights field. (see plug-in and rights statements to add http://pro.europeana.eu/page/available-rights-statements ) Aks Clarissa what rights statements to choose from the list.

list of themes

assigned @JorisLambrechts
cc @naeemmuhammad

when building a story you can currently select from a list of themes. I think in this stage we will only have one theme on offer I think (an Espace story theme I think). If there is only one theme, its best that this list is hidden or that the other selection options are not visible. Otherwise it will be confusing for the users

Activate recaptcha i.p.v. captcha

Message from ICTS

hide search form element

assigned @JorisLambrechts

To make the search for easier for the end users, it would be helpfull to hide some search options

HIDE/Remove:

Search by a range of ID#s (example: 1-4, 156, 79)
Search by type
Featured/Non-Featured
Geographic Address
Geographic Radius (miles)

Filter for 'Own' Stories

Like Items there should be 'Own' filter for Stories, so that users can easily filter on own stories (again the default setting) and all stories

opmaak

Zie /espace_test/items/show/301 en /espace_test/collections/show/4 & /espace_test/collections/show/1 als vb.

    capture

Filter for 'Own' Collections

Like Items there should be 'Own' filter for Collections, so that users can easily filter on own collections (again the default setting) and all collections

only 100 search results retrieved

A search on 'foto stadsarchief leuven' in Europeana only gives a 100 results. There should be more, but there is no page browsing.

User profile (/user-profiles/profiles/)

For espace_test

assigned @naeemmuhammad
Metadata is ok for now. Just add another check box for gender 'Leave blank'.

First name
Last name
Gender:
Male
Female
Leave blank
Country
Address

Add a back button to the dashboard. We can call it. "Back 2 My Space", or "My Space", or "Dashboard".

@JorisLambrechts Design of /user-profiles/profiles/

  • Don't show the add input fields
  • Make the fields a bit smaller so the user has an immediate view of the metadata
  • Remove 'Use HTML'
    capture

This should show the users "Display name".
capture

(Good example velehanden.nl/account/gebruiker/aanmelden)

create your own story

'Create your own story' (roze kader) en 'Get started' (in banner home page) laten doorverwijzen naar /espace_test/create-your-own-story.

Image not beig imported

For some records images are not imported. This is happening because remote server where we download images does not provide access to certain images. Mainly it is happening with records searched from WITHin source.
Example: http://www.tellyourphotostory.be/espace_test/exhibits/show/naturevsnurture/naturevsnurture

A possible solution to solve this issue could be to add following source code in the download module:
$context = stream_context_create(array(
'http' => array(
'method' => "GET",
"Connection: keep-alive",
"ignore_errors" => true,
"timeout" => 3,
'proxy'=>get_option('libco_server_proxy')
)
));
It worked on my local development environment, but did not work on server (production). It needs to be investigated why it did not work on server.

Hiding via css

Hiding following elements via css:

  1. "Remember Me" from the login page.
  2. "Omeka Admin" link from the menu bar. See issue #2

Go to Collection description" goed zichtbaar.

Mogelijk weergave format
capture

item search doesn't work properly

searching on "SAL" or "Leuven gives no result while there are items containing this term in the metadata. I haven't checked the indexing settings
There is also no back button when you wan"t to go back to the search page.

New pull requests for filter extension to Exhibit plugin

Currently, in admin view, exhibits from all users are shown. There is no support in Exhibit plugin for users to see their own exhibits only. In the context of Espace project we need a filter to let users filter their own exhibits. To provide such support we have implemented 'owner' filter and made a pull request( (omeka/plugin-ExhibitBuilder#81). Owner of the Exhibit plugin wants separate pull requests for various modifications needed to introduce this filter.

User profiles I think as well since its a duplication of the My Space dashboard. Or this tab should link back to the My Space dashboard, but you already have this at the top of the list.
Map
Comments can remain in case that only the users own comments or comment on his own items or stories are shown.
Idem for contributed items. Should only show items for the user itself. Perhaps there should also be something like Shared items (requirement 3.5, but its a could so this can wait).

search Items

assigned @JorisLambrechts

Advanced search velden inkorten:

  • Search for keywords
  • Search by collection
  • search by user
  • Search by tag
  • Search by exhibit
