Chiming in to echo the same issue. Still not working.
It works perfectly if you replace the current Beetle Wonderswan core with one from a year ago. It's likely that a backup core from earlier this year would work fine too.
EDIT: Tested various stable RetroArch builds and the last version that had a working Wonderswan core for Judgment Silversword was RetroArch 1.9.9. All stable releases that followed broke Judgment Silversword and Dicing Knight (possibly others too?).
Just grab the core from the stable 1.9.9 release and you'll be good to go until this issue is fixed.
