How would it benefit? Faster startup speed is important for command line tools likely to be called in loops from shell scripts, but in this case iteration (over zip entries) is done within jardiff
.

I assumed the entire operation of diffing would be fast, and therefore be burdened by JVM startup.
Also it's conceivable that two sets of jars are compared, so there could be external looping.
