The first result for
but clicking it takes me to a broken page. Second search result works fine.

Notably the first result doesn't show it as belonging to any channel.
Pinned conversations take a lot of space (especially in mobile). We should figure out a better way to display it.
Keep this issue opened. This is to paste gifs and feature releases here.
We will have an actual change log later on but let's use this github issue here for now
When someone syncs Slack conversations into Linen it is useful to have the links be converted in to Linen URLs. Slack has a 90 day retention so if someone clicks on a link to Slack archive often times it disappears

Right now session and multi tenant management is not great
Users should be able to add images and attachments to messages. Images should be rendered. We should include a size limit so it doesn't blow up the server
No option to add a comment here when logged in

Can see the add comment box on my own community.
Long term, we'd like to offer light/dark and other modes of display. Adding a more robust color theme would help.
Right now we use one color for avatars without an image. We should have unique color combination per letter.
In the next step we could make it unique per user of given community. Doing it by letter is less time consuming.
Currently, Linen provides support for only text Channels.
We recently moved some of our Discord channels from Text to Forum, and I cannot use these with Linen.
Linen, so far, is an incredible tool. Thank you!

[Feature Request] Search result only returns the individual comment, no way to see it in the thread and context surrounding it (without visiting the source platform)
The page is available under the /faq
route.
They should be able to open and close their own threads as well as edit the title and (set summary once we have it)
First version should just allow you to merge threads via drag & drop. We'd like to start with the channel view.
Sentry is not working for us inside of lambda functions, logtail seems to be easier to use and more robust.
It would be great to improve the db seed e.g. by adding messages that look more like real messages, with images, avatars and all real life content.
Currently Discord bots sync won't work unless they have the proper permissions. We should write a message or alert incase they have extra permissions. Should probably be configured in the settings page.
As a community admin I want to see if there are any conversations that hasn't been responded to yet. We should add a filter to find all conversations that doesn't have a reply on the feed view
Keep turning them on and reconnecting Discord. Only for Linen to not sync anything and toggle them back off.
Managed to sync three channels by doing it one by one, reconnecting each time; but not working for anymore.
In Discord you can Group channels we should let you do the same in Linen
We have a lot of requests for developer api's for Linen we should set up a way for developers to setup an API key and setup rate limits on each key.
There are a few goals here:
We can have a further discussion on this feature but using this as the beginning of the discussions
We should be syncing images from Discord as well.
Right now users have to create a password to sign in. We should allow users to sign in with Google
Right now you can't get in to mobile view for the feed. We should improve the UX around feed
Linen is already too good to be true for me:
As I like to use IRC for both channel-based communication yet with chat history being archived and indexed by search engines, and I enjoyed slack/discord's modern capabilities(markdown, emoji reaction, etc...)
Now Linen comes to make it perfectly combined!
I wonder if it's considered to bring the support of IM-Bot-based indexing, this helps open-source communities a lot to grasp precious sync/async discussions in public in the elegant level of Linen.dev.
To me, the most desired IMs are:
Thanks!

I would like to make life easier for Linen maintainers by implementing Uffizzi previews.
Disclaimer: I work on Uffizzi
Uffizzi is a Open Source full stack previews engine and is completely free for Linen (and all open source projects). This will provide maintainers with previews of their PRs in the cloud, allowing them iterate faster and reduce time to merge.
TODO:
Some communities don't want to use their slack community name and wants to choose their own custom one. We are configuring it manually for apache-druid for now but if they sync it would change to their old workspace
When responding to an old comment (using the reply feature), the reply isn't bridged so context is lost.
Currently we support Google analytics. We should support Matomo and Plausible.
Better yet we should be able to support custom script tags. Ideally there is something that is like a privacy friendly alternative to Google tags manager.
Implementation priority is if we want to build it one at a time:
Matomo then plausible
Up to implementor to decide. Both options are valid.
