python-for-ios's Issues

[HELP] More Info on building native python libraries

Hello there, thank you for this python for ios. It works great, however I have problem building native python libraries:
pip install lxml
I have tried to install iPhone GCC toolchain without success
then i uninstalled it and install clang toolchain, also without success
(I'm noob so I really don't know which compiler flags to use)

I already googled it but it's so confusing as some people told to do A, and other to do B etc.
Can you please give some detailed information how to build native python libraries?

Python 3?

This is somewhat an 'issue' and somewhat a question.

Issue is that there is not a build for Python 3. Some scripts that need python 3 do not work on iOS due to this.

question is if you have any plans to make builds or ios. If not, do you have any idea how hard it would be? I have a linux iOS toolchain; would that be sufficient
