Hardware question

Hi there, i am sorry if this is not the right place, but i cannot find somekind of a forum or find my answer in the documentation.
I am trying to get the hardware list complete so i can build a photobooth with your awesome software.

Is there a list with recommended camera's and printers?
I search around this list and see some issues with some camera's, so i don't want to buy an incorrect one. I am thinking of an Nikon EOS 500D. But i am not an expert (and don't know how i can read the modelnumbers and functionality).

Also i want an Dye Sublimation because of speed and the amount of prints we want to make. After searching the internet a came accross a DNP printer, but i cannot find this manufacturer in the cups support list. Which Dye Sublimation printers are supported?

I hope someone can help me, if i missed a link where i can find the info, please send.
