[WANTED] Your help is needed!

I would like to ask everybody who is using this library and did some improvement if you can send me PR. Or if there is somebody with time to help with this project.

Sadly, this project is not a priority for me due to lack of free time. And also I do not own newest Raspberry Pi 3 so I can not solve/test lot of issues.

I am open to any kind of help.

Does Not Work On Pi 3B+

I can't figure out what's wrong, because I've tried everything... pleeaasse update the script to allow use for the raspberry pi 3 model B+...

This library was my last resource on a hobby project & now I don't think I'll be able to complete this project of mine :(

Thank you for sharing your work, I start on Raspberry and I have some problems at the connections.

Following your tutorial I am confronted with two problems, Could you help me to understand

1. On your diagram it has GPIO16 with a pink ball but on the motor shield I do not find this color.
2. The red wire on the motor shield is for the pin 5V or the pin just below ?

When just one specific motor is turned on it doesn't work propely

I'm try to using but I've a problema when I try turn on just a M3 motor. It start very slow or not start. When I turn on the four motors, everything is ok.
I'm using raspberry pi 4 model B

Other issue, when I turn on the raspberry and motordrive together some motors start work unexpected

coding working:

amspi.run_dc_motors([amspi.DC_Motor_1, amspi.DC_Motor_2, amspi.DC_Motor_3, amspi.DC_Motor_4])    
time.sleep(3)

amspi.stop_dc_motors([amspi.DC_Motor_1, amspi.DC_Motor_2, amspi.DC_Motor_3, amspi.DC_Motor_4])

Not working propely :

amspi.run_dc_motors([amspi.DC_Motor_3])
time.sleep(3)
amspi.stop_dc_motors([amspi.DC_Motor_3])

Not run at max speed

It seem that with this library the motor not run max speed? Is that the common issue when control motors using Shift Register?

Not working on RPI 3B

I've followed your wirings and I can't make it work. I can't even run 1 motor.

Can you please help me? I figured it could be the GPIO numberings that is the problem but i tried using board numbering and it still doesn't work.

Also, does the location of the library (AMspi.py) you created matter for this one?

Hi, i'm trying your library with a Raspberry pi 3 and it's not working. The script runs ok but nothing happends. You think it should run anyway (so it's something with my connections) or it might be a difference with the Rasp versions?

It works with pi zero w?

Hi guys! I waste all the day for connecting it with pi zero w, but nothing. I ve tried all what I have found on rpi forum, the Last lib was your but nothing happens.

Then, I Just change pi from zero to 3b+ and it works!

Why it cant work with pi zero w?
