Team's Response
To scroll through the text input, you may use the arrow button to navigate between every letter. Besides that, a scrollable button may also defeat our purpose as a CLI-based application, as it requires the use of a mouse. Therefoer, it is not necessary to add a scroll bar here.

❓ Issue response

- I disagree
Reason for disagreement: I disagree that this issue is NotInScope
. As being a CLI optimised application as quoted from your UG,
the command input should be the main entry point serving your users. Thus, the features should be catered and surrounding this CLI given that it is going to the be single most used component of the entire application. The issue pointed out is due to the lack of support and intuitiveness of the input box. Though I agree that CLI users might not wish to "scroll", because they would want to use their keyboards, but in most modern computers, a mouse or mousepad would exist to allow for such scrolling. When a user input is expected, it is reasonable to expect the input box being scrollable, auto-expands, or at least having a large minimum width that can fit most commands. Given that the first sample command in the UG, already does not fit the input box, it shows that the application was not really optimized for the CLI, but more was catered for the other visual aspects. Thus, I believe it is a FeatureFlaw
.
❓ Issue severity

- I disagree
Reason for disagreement: I believe that this issue is not VeryLow, as based on the course website, VeryLow issues are used mainly for cosmetic/ documentation issues. Given that this issue highly relates to the daily usability of the application that potentially affects almost every user, this seems to warrant at least a minimum of Low. However, I believe that the severity could be raised to a Medium, given that there is a high potential to affect a large portion of users.
