Suggestions for Uninstall Manager

Hello.

What if we could make the uninstall manager in this more like Revo Uninstaller, where it will search your system for left overs of uninstalled program. There is no open-source uninstaller like Revo, so it would be nice if we could make this kind of a like Revo.

Using Winapp2 for Little System Cleaner?

I am am maintainer for Winapp2. Sometime ago, I asked on the forums if you wanted to use Winapp2 for Little System Cleaner, but I got no response. Winapp2 is a community maintained file that extends cleaning rules. It can be used pretty much with any cleaner. A lot of popular cleaners use Winapp2 and you are welcome to use it yourself.

Any developement for this still going?

Hello.

First of all I just want to say that I really like this software. I mainly use it for the uninstaller, to remove traces that Windows uninstaller leaves behind, and for the registry cleaner, mainly because i install/uninstall software a lot so I like to keep my registry clean.

I just want to know if there is still any development going on this and when the next release will be? I haven't really used this software much since i upgraded to Windows 10 because of the number of bugs with registry cleaner and I don't want anything bad happening. I also want to know if you plan on expanding it more to further clean out unneeded registry entries? Also, do you plan on expanding the uninstaller to be more like Revo Uninstaller?

Also, I run a Open-Source Community on Steam with many FOSS/Open-source people (and it grows with more people everyday). I am willing to add your software to our movement, only if I can get a confirm that development is still going on and when the next release will be. I figure this will help get you some more people to use this software (however it is probably best if you advertise yourself to get the word around). Here is our group if you want to check it out: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/opencommunity

An idea for a new tool

So, GameFire use to be the only open-source game booster on the web, until version 5.0 where the developers decided to close source GameFire. There are no open-source tools like GameFire that allows you to shut off unneeded processes during gaming. Maybe that would be a good addition to little system cleaner or maybe even a stand alone product. Maybe it doesn't even have to be specifically for gaming, you could use it anytime or even 24/7.

Allow to choose which tools to install

It would be nice if you can choose which tools to install during setup. For example, the registry optimizer is not needed on Windows 8+ systems because the registry is automatically compressed, but of course is still needed on Windows XP/Vista/7.

Little registry cleaner suggestions

Hello.

I have some suggestions whenever you decide to get this back up and running. This is for the registry cleaner in little system cleaner:

  • Add a option to remove invalid firewall rules.
  • Add a option to remove invalid shortcuts.
  • Add a option to remove empty registry keys.
  • Add a option to remove MUI Cache
  • Add a option to find registry keys left over from uninstalling a program.
  • Add a option for deep registry cleaning. I notice Little system cleaner only cleans the surface, but would be nice if it could go deep into the registry. Maybe as a advanced option (I know Little Registry Cleaner was meant to be a simple and safe registry cleaner, hence the name, but still a deep cleaning registry option would be nice for advanced users).

By the way, I tried making an account over a little apps forums, but it kept telling me that I was unable to register at this time.

Also, on Little System Cleaner website, the 2 links, "Submit a bug report" and "Create a thread on the Little Apps forums" are broken and just leads back the Little System Cleaner website.
