Ability to work alongside other i2c services (akin to Wire.h)

This would be a very good feature, bordering on being a shortcoming/bug in the current implementation. The lack of Wire.h means this library needs to have a way to operate alongside another application using i2c without collisions (thread safety might be a concern with ESP32).

Byte confusion in the i2c stream when keyboard mashing

I haven't tested whether this is original behaviour, or whether it only happens when using interrupts, but if mashing the keys the i2c stream quickly gets confused about which bytes belong to which request. I don't know if this happens on Arduino but I assume it doesn't due to Wire.h's request buffer. I may have to write something to take the place of Wire.h in this instance.
