sjFs4py

sjFs4py is FileSystem utilities for python, it will contain several tools, such as logcat_rename.

logcat_rename

logcat_rename is tools for rename logcat.log.([0-9]+) files to logcat.%02d.log. On Letv TV devices, the logcat files redirected from system will be named like logcat.log.2 logcat.log.1 logcat.log, as earlier as No is bigger.

internal of the file, line is ascending, but the files is descending. so we need to rename files by time ascending. The expection like these, assumption 3 files.

logcat.log -> logcat.03.log
logcat.log.1 -> logcat.02.log
logcat.log.2 -> logcat.01.log

usage

  578  python logcat_rename.py --logcat-dir=/disk2/thomas/sjPBP/DMS/GRACE-89/03/Log.2/

After that the filenames will be these:
