Getting Started

1. Clone the ceph repository: https://github.com/ceph/ceph
2. Install dependencies (details here: https://github.com/ceph/ceph/#readme)
3. cd ceph/build
4. Run the setup_vstart.sh script while in the build directory
5. Run the read_balancer_demo.sh script while in the build directory once the cluster settles (wait for HEALTH_OK)
6. After the demo, stop the cluster with ../src/stop.sh

Not presented in acting set.

I try your solution (because it's simple to use) and I sometimes got this error:

like the system try to set an OSD not presented in the acting set of a pg as primary.
don't know if it's normal or if I used it badly.

After read balancing on reef cluster unable to do any read/write on pool

"NEED HELP - Critical issue" We have a running SSD ceph cluster which. We have do manual read balancing on one of our pool. Now the pool is not doing any read write. As we are using this pool as our cloud stack storage back end it's very critical for us to resolve the issue. can you please give us some light on this?
