KinoAOC

A helper for Advent of Code (a smart cell) for Elixir Livebook using Kino.

Installation

To bring KinoAOC to Livebook all you need to do is Mix.install/2:

Mix.install([
  {:kino_aoc, "~> 0.1"}
])

Usage

You only need add the smart cell Advent of Code Helper and select the YEAR, DAY, set the SESSION and the output ASSIGN TO.

In SESSION you can configure a secret or set a string directly. The session id is a cookie which is set when you login to AoC. You can find it with your browser inspector.

Warning
The session string mode saves the content directly in the notebook.
Be careful to share it.

kino_aoc's Issues

KinoAOC should trim the input

I encounter an issue with the Day 6 of AdventCalendar 2022. I spent several hours to find the issue ^^ It seems that KinoAOC trim the content of the input. Unfortunately, I won't work if the beginning of the content is a space, and if this space is relevant for the challenge.

Example:

I believe that removing the trim here (https://github.com/ljgago/kino_aoc/blob/main/lib/kino_aoc.ex#L11) will solve the issue.

I'll propose a patch when I will have time. Feel free to go ahead.
