Terminal config for my Mac

I like having Solarized as my theme, vi as my terminal shell as well as displaying my current git branch and colouring all of this to make it super clear.

Prerequisites

  • Have sudo access
  • Install Brew
  • Install oh-my-zsh
  • Webstorm

Installation

  1. Place .zshrc at ~/
  2. Place .vimrc at ~/
  3. Download Solarized and unzip
  4. Import "Solarized Dark ansi.terminal" from osx-terminal.app-colors-solarized into your Terminal themes and select as default.
  5. Increase font size to 18px
  6. Change "Shells open with" to use /bin/zsh
  7. Import webstorm_settings.zip into webstorm
  8. Restart terminal
