tfoot and th elements are not behaving in parent-child relationship??

In the file web_development/learning_basics/practice_table.html, on line 25 th element in tfoot is styled using descendent combinator but when styled using child combinator, it fails.

name of css file wrong

in you link file of penguin-pasted.html you are linked css where you incorrectly given the file name wrong.

not making an elements position absolute changing the behavior of other elements

in file web_developement/penguin-pasted.css at line 24, when position of a div is made absolute other divs are behaving as expected but when that line is commented i.e. retaining the div in the flow of the web page, changes the behavior of other elements like left-mountain and ground. See the file for clear understanding..
Its html file is of the same name...
