hash keeps going to 0 after a few hours
Hello. I been noticing for my 2 amds on zel after a few hours I see it reporting 0hash meaning it quit mining and I have to keep restarting it.. the cards didn't crash or anything. I asked the zel discord and a pool owner equipool.1ds.us said he also herd about that and had people report it sense it is a urgent issue.
Will this be fixed soon? or a quick fix I can do?
AUTO192_7 - doesn't implement pers string supplied by pool (mining.notify)
Tested with a custom stratum server providing the pers string (ZcashPoW) as parameter 10 of mining.notify - this is for mining Equihash 192,7
Basically, it doesn't work so shares are rejected - I believe Suprnova also expect miners to use a pers provided this way.
Plead for the support of MacOS (MacOS Mojave) with EGPU.
Plead for the support of MacOS (MacOS Mojave) with EGPU.
I'm mining on MacOS Mojave of Macbook Pro with External GPU aka EGPU of AMD RX580.
I have 4 AMD GPUs and 3 NVIDIA GPUs which can run on MacOS with EGPU with greater, stabler performance than on other OSs.
The reject rate plunges to zero while stability hikes on MacOS with EGPU, meaning mining on MacOS is more lucrative than either on Linux and on Windows.
And it consume less power on MacOS than on other OS as well!
Please make lolMiner support MacOS with EGPU!!!
Thanks in advance!!
0.9.7 doesn't load 16G solvers on neither CT31 & CT32 [Nvidia]
So decided to test the LOL miner on CT 31 & CT 32 on my beefy Titan Vs JHH. Each GPU has 32 GB vram.
Despite having the miner ran with GRIN-AT31 and GRIN-AT32 it selects the 8GB solvers despite having plenty of VRAM available. The speeds are also appalling: 0.3 for C32 and about 1gps for C31.
Bminer for reference crunches 2.7gps on C31 but on the 11 GB solver.

RX 460/550 Not supported !
Hi,
I was setting up to mining some equihash coins like equi 144_5 (works great) but unfortunately It does not work for equishash 192_7 algo as I get an error saying:
"RX 460 and RX 550 are not supported for the current algo"
I was trying to find a solution but nothing.
Please may you look at it and try to fix it.
I enjoy your work and thank you

Issue on Coin switch on Auto profit pool
I've been having an issue with AUTO192_7 and v0.6 on Zergpool: whenever it switches coins, I get this error:
Warning: index out of bounds
Lost connection to stratum server equihash192.mine.zergpool.com:2144 or server not reachable.
Trying to connect in 3 seconds
Connected to equihash192.mine.zergpool.com:2144
It attempts to reconnect, but then doesn't submit any shares and eventually just times out.
Pool not reacting to submitted shares for too long. Reconnecting.
After that message, it doesn't reconnect, and my GPUs go to idle.

API coin and algorithm when GRIN auto profit switching
Would it be possible for the API to return the actual algorithm being mined when using the auto profit switcher?
It seems more consistent (api returns coin and algo in other cases), and it will let users externally view what’s actively being mined.
As of right now, the API returns:
"Mining": {
"Coin": "GRIN-AUTO",
"Algorithm": "Grin Auto Profit Switcher"
}
Thank you.

Support for Ycash
Ycash is a chain fork of Zcash that will launch at block height 570,000 of the Zcash blockchain (around July 18, 2019). A testnet will be available starting June 7, 2019. We are using Equihash(192,7).
We'd love for Ycash miners to be able to mine using lolMIner.
Note that Ycash is changing the Zcash address formats. (For example, Sapling addresses start with "ys" instead of "zs".)

Not showing RTX Titan 24GB and Misreading RTX 2070 8GB
Is the lolminer able to take advantage of the RTX Titan. It won't show up in the miner at all.
I looked back on all the lolminer logs and no word of RTX Titan. Even Tromp said that RTX Titan would be ideal for mining C32. Any word on when lolminer will be able to utilize the 24GB of the RTX Titan (or 48 GB with NVLink) or other higher Titans like the Titan V JHH Special Edition 32GB?
Also its misreading RTX 2070 GB. @Lolliedieb
allow "pers" option
the "pers" option is unavailable and causes rejected shares with some coins, this config option would be great!
Specifically referring to Ycash, its "ZcashPoW" and 192_7 and no way to specify it as such so at the very least a coin profile of that type would suffice, THX!
ok figured out the overwritepersonal but a ycash profile would be good too (sorry)

Version 0.7: GPU sorting changed
GPU sorting changed. Its now sorted by PCIE bus address. This addresses are also shown at startup and in API.
This might cause compatibility issues with multipool miners like www.multipoolminer.io.
Could you please add a command line options to have the old GPU sorting back (for backward compatibility). Thank you very much!
Broken mining
Was trying out your miner today and found that mining Aion is broken, the miner gets job from the pool (tested multiple pools) then crash once it solve a share. I saw in the past some users was reporting that Aion got broken since version 0.7
Example miner command:
lolMiner.exe --coin AION --pool cluster.aionpool.tech:3333 --user walletAddress.workerName --pass mp=10
Example miner command (TLS/SSL):
lolMiner.exe --coin AION --pool cluster.aionpool.tech:5555 --tls on --user walletAddress.workerName --pass mp=10

Stuck Device Error
Setup: Ubuntu 18.04.1 - Kernel 4.15 using lolminer 0.9.4 with Intel 3855u CPU - 8x PCIe - 8GB RAM - 5x RX570 16GB and 1x Vega FE 16GB - 1600w EVGA Titanium PSU.
Problem: After about 2-4 hours one of the cards ends up with an error talking about a card getting "Stuck" with that cards hashrate dropping to 0.
What I tried so far:
-
I tried without the Vega in the system, and still experienced the same problem with the 5x RX570 16Gb cards alone.
-
I've also shuffled between AMD drivers 18.20, 18.50, & 19.50 to no avail.. I used opencl=legacy, pal (legacy for the RX cards and pal for the Vega)
-
I double-checked using the ePIC miner for the 5x RX570 16GB cards, and was able to continuously mine no problem.
-
I tired just running one card in the system, the lolminer works perfectly with one card continuously long term, no errors.
I prefer to use lolminer due to the performance enhancements and the fact I can use both the Vega and RX570s at the same time unlike the ePIC miner (where I can only use the RX570 16GB cards and only Legacy drivers in the system), but performance is moot if I cannot continuously run a rig, especially for solo mining.
Any suggestions?
This is what happens right after I use lolminer. This does not happen at all with the ePIC miner. So unfortunately I am going to stop using lolminer until there is a fix or solution to this issue.
Nevertheless, I appreciate all the hard work you are doing, keep up the good work!
