upgrade the BLE stack firmware: error in user guide

There is an error in LoRa Edge™Tracker Reference Design User Guide.pdf (release: October 2020) related to BLE stack firmware upgrade.

Section: 4.1.2.3 How to Flash M0+ Dedicated to BLE step 4) c)

Command to install the stack firmware, has an error in adress:
STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=usb1 -fwupgrade stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw.bin 0x080CB000 firstinstall=1

According ST documentation: Provides Install address for the targeted binary to be 0x080CA000

GNSS location test error

I try to test Lr1110 tracker with actility and tagoio.

I check test wifi location during day.

but I can't check gnss location.

lr1110 was set at under picture.

and this is data traffic history of tagoio

how I test lr1110 gnss location test?

main_lorawan.c missing in Keil project

Hi,

It looks like main_lorawan.c is missing in the Keil project, which makes the branches lr1110_modem_lorawan_xxxxx not able to compile.

Is there a way to obtain the main lorawan file?

32Khz crystal not working?

Hi,

I compile the code under lora_edge_tracker_ref_design/smtc_tracker_app/MDK-ARM/ and program the hex file to the MCU but there is nothing running. When I probe the 32kHz crystal I realize it is not resonating, just high on one end and low on the other end. I checked the RCC config functions and they look good to me. Am I missing something here?

Update application firmware in OTA mode fail

Recently bought LoRa Edg Tracker Reference Design. I followed the quick start guide and after few steps and Clicking on Update application firmware device went into SMTC_TKR_OTA mode. After that I can not update application firmware anymore.

Did i missed something?

In SMTC_TKR_OTA mode, after reaching 99% i get the graied message "Could not update firmware" and loose connection to the device. Red led starts to blink.

Is there any other way to update firmware?

How to execute Make -j in windows?

Do I need to install something else like mingw or visual studio?

so I try to reference this code.

but my board "Lr1110" do not include lr1110-modem. so do you know how to use LR1110-modem?

what should i do if My Lr1110 can't use lr1110-modem.

should I refer to LRMAC-periodic-uplink-lpp?

if I programing LRMAC-periodic-uplink-lpp with gnss-scan, wifi-scan, lr1110 join the sever,whenever Lr1110 scan wifi, gnss?

main_lorawan.c file missing

I'm taking the first touch with the project and I found this:

..\Src\apps\LoRaWAN\main_lorawan.c

LoRaWAN folder and file doesn't exist...

App failed to work... (or maybe false upload procedure)

Hi there, I have issue with the uploading procedure. Here is what I already tried:

1. Uploading the OTA_BLE.bin from the bin folder on memory 0x08000000 via STM32CubeProg
2. Make tracker project using GCC and get tracker.bin on gcc/build folder
3. Uploading the gcc/build/tracker.bin memory 0x08007000 via STM32CubeProg
4. Disconnect from STM32CubeProg

with the procedures above, I got nothing from the serial interface. I also already uploaded hex from the hex_merged folder and no problem. UART work on 921600 baud rate and no problems at all. Am I doing it wrong? Any help/insight about upload procedure will be great. Thx 🙏🙏🙏

what does the 'alcsync timestamp' exactly mean?

Hi,
I receive the device data 'alcsync timestamp' from the Semtech Lora cloud (topic in chirpstack AS: '#/integration'). I thought it is the Almanac update date of the Edge Tracker device, but it seems to be different when I checked the recent almanac updated date row in the LoRa Edge config (BLE Android App) .

If it is the timestamp when the device receives satellite coverage, the 'position timestamp' which is included in the 'position solution' element should be the same, but it varies from this 'alcsync timestamp', why is that?!

can anyone please help me with this confusion about 'alcsync timestamp' received from Semtech LoRa Cloud Portal?
