Preliminary work on this is done in the WIP Design document.
Decisions have been made, now they need to be implemented.

only animals that are actually farmed remain a spawn, others are merged into gathering, with just their products remaining (e.g. carmine is collectable).
of those that remain, caps will eb changed
for example bees will use a combination (50% forest +50% agriculture)
silk moths will use the cap of their living "substrate", that is the mulberry leaves they consume
and so forth
only thing that is still unclear is fish farming...
