I like your findMaxNum function and the fact that you're working from the maxNum down to the base case.

Only two issues would be to update your spacing from 4 to 2 for your editor and also remove any comments that aren't documentation, e.g. '// do your work here` which was placed there previously.

Oh, add some comments for documentation to help with explaining your thought process for this exercise.
