Config file resets to default every time the game is restarted

Minecraft Version: 1.16.5

Forge Version: 36.0.21

Describe problem (what you were doing; what happened; what should have happened):
When changing something in the config file and attempting to test changes I made to it, I found that the changes were not applied after restarting the game to attempt to apply said changes.

When I looked at the config file I found that it had reset itself back to it's default state and after doing some testing I found that this happens every time I start up the game. This happens regardless of what I change in the config or how many changes I've made to the config.

The changes I make to the config file just get erased every time I start up the game and this makes it impossible to configure the mod or add extra plants to the config.

Melons drop themselves instead of melon slices

Describe problem (what you were doing; what happened; what should have happened):

when harvesting a melon without silk touch, the melon drop itself.
It would be better if the melon dropped slices.

Port to modrinth

Hi!

Would it be possible to put the latest versions 1.20.1+ on modrinth, i've been working on a modpack and modrinth isn't too happy about me pulling mod files from curseforge. If you could put it on modrinth aswell that would be great!

When I kill a pig, it gives too much Raw Porkchop (8-9). Very easy to reproduce the bug.

Idea: better config

Hey, I had a few Ideas for the config that I wanted to share.
Adding a black- and whitelist would be great, it would add much more compability for other mods.
Adding a setting for how long it takes a seed get planted, I this would be really cool because some people want it way faster then others.

Better regrow [suggestion]

Here are some "simple" Ideas that could change things up a bit more and make it even more immersive.

Auto leave decay:
It would be really nice if the leaves would in some time decay and regrow.
For example if a room is completly unlit the leaves should start decaying.
This would drop saplings from time to time making it Immersive.

Biome depend auto plant:
Before the saplings gets planted the mod checks what biome the sapling is in.
For example: if an oak sapling is in winter ish biome, the chance of get planted should be reduce by an amount.
This is so a forest don't start to grow everywhere.

Sapling decay:
If a sapling can't grow, it should decay after some time.

Why are you overriting loot_tables????

Simply remove the overridden loot_tables!

  1. It is not named inside of the curseforge page, that this mod change some loot tables
  2. If I install an auto planter, I am NOT expecting that I get up to 9 flesh from a pig.
  3. It IS an AUTO PLANTER

Attempting to add blocks to config file. The file is set to default on starting the game instead of allowing new blocks to be planted.
