prestige2's Issues

welcome div appears randomly

welcome div is there during first topic(maybe?) and disappears after first topic div, I think, then appears again in round 2, and the same happens again? Do we need welcome div throughout? Previously there for PlayerID

topic breaks

ideally they'd be a div inbetween topic transitions to highlight they're moving on to a new topic, as that's so important for this experiment. they might miss it as it is

check with multiple players

checking with just two players right now. obviously check up to ten players or so for debugging, in each condition?

make round 1 bigger

adjust round 1 and round 2 sizes , this will mean swapping the ordering of some questions to keep the topic consistency.

round2div_check update

need to sort the round2div_check, split into conditions a, b and c (a and b are no longer the same). This is all intertwined with sorting out the copying behaviour as this is where the bug starts at the moment. Maybe try checking round 2 behaviour without going through the round2div check....

add extra info_chosen

need to add another "info_chosen" option
e.g. process_neighbours on lines 233 of exp_shared.js
at the moment only covers topic score, times chosen on this topic, or times chosen altogether, but not times chosen on a different topic

randomise div check buttons

right now condition A's correct comprehension check button is always at the top, giving them an advantage if they just randomly select the first answer...

add 1) 2) and spaces to div check

need to make div check clearer with spaces/bold info labelling 1/2

also randomise buttons..? otherwise Cond's A's correct div_check answer is always the first one... maybe this is fine? but maybe gives CondA an unfair advantage in getting through divcheck without understanding...

diff topic for each button when choosing random topic

the topic randomiser means each button can get a different topic - within participant (and question). Within question not so much of a problem (different players can see different topics), but if someone is seeing their neighbors' scores on a diff topic, they need to all be on the same topic to be comparable

display copies per topic

adjust prestige information according to new conditions, display copies per topic, or overall, or for random topic.

assign_choice_buttons

line 128 in round2.js
just got the info_choice_a and info_choice_b, think we will need to add an info_choice_c, and sort it out per condition rather than lumping conds A and B as we currently do...
