Ventura 13.3 breaks the screensaver

I just recently updated to Ventura 13.3 and the Redpill screensaver is no longer working. I'm on a 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro. Everything was working prior to the 13.3 update. :(.

Gatekeeper Problems in Catalina

OSX Catalina: After every restart, I get the unknown developer prompt again, although I already clicked on open-anyway in security settings. How about signing the software so Gatekeeper will shut up? Thanks, love the saver.

Glyphs show as rectangles (no texture) on Mountain Lion

Currently there's a mysterious fix in place for this problem: the PNG file containing the texture was downsampled to 8 bit PNG, and the binary was recompiled using LLVM.

Even so, OS X seems to get confused if there are old versions of RedPill, so before reporting a problem please:

1. Delete all old versions.
2. Quit System Preferences.
3. Empty the trash.
4. Install the new version in ~/Library/Screen Savers/
5. Run System Preferences.

The above sequence seems to fix the issue for some.

Nevertheless, it would be good if the code could be made more robust, to deal with any depth of PNG file. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Latest build confirmed to be working on M1

Hi! Just wanted to write to confirm that your latest build from November 7 works flawlessly on my new MacBook Pro M1 Max running macOS Monterey 12.0.1.

Does not run on Monterey

After upgrading to macOS 12.0.1, I get a message saying "You cannot use the Red Pill screen saver with this version of macOS."

Updated to macOS 14.1.1 and RedPill not working

I just updated to macOS 14.1.1, and Redpill is not working. I granted access to RedPill via the Privacy & Security to run, but I only got a blank screen. I am running Redpill 2.1.1-64bit image. I am running on an Apple Mac Studio M1 Max machine.
