This is an extension for the AUTOMATIC1111 webui, which lets you save notes about models.

Installation

Select the extensions, install from url and insert the url of this repository. Don't forget to reload the ui afterwards.

Usage

Open the "Model Notes" tabs, select a model and add a note. The selection process might take a bit if the model was never selected in the interface before. Any notes can also be accessed and edited in the generation interface itself by just pressing the 📝 tool button.

Where are the model notes stored?

Where are the model notes stored? What if I wanted to manually edit them outside of the webui?

Why doesn't it allow for markdown?

I have TONS of text files with notes about each model. Why would you not make this work with that?

It could be so useful, but not right now.

Consider expanding feature: get description from Civitai.

I'm really excited about this extension since there are so many new models, loras, TIs being made and it has very quickly become overwhelming trying to manage all of the info on each. The fact that this will pull info from Civitai is a great feature, but as it works currently it would take many many many hours to pull info on each model/lora/TI individually and save them.

Would it be possible to implement a feature that could pull info for all models at once from Civitai and autosave? I'm sure this could possibly get messy if one already has info stored... so perhaps it could skip any item that already has text entered into the notes?

Let me know if this is something that would be possible and thanks for making this extension.
