Realtime prize drawing app built with ❤️ Phoenix

To start your Phoenix server:

• Install dependencies with mix deps.get
• Create and migrate your database with mix ecto.setup
• Start Phoenix endpoint with mix phx.server or inside IEx with iex -S mix phx.server

Now you can visit localhost:4000 from your browser.

Add footer to the auth page

The footer only appears on the room page

Show ping

https://livebeats.fly.dev/ has a way to show your Fly region and ping. This would be a nice addon

Download QR Code

Add a button to quickly download the QR Code so you can share

Prize winner does not show on mobile

Might be a css issue

Tell admin when there are no more prizes to be drawed

If there are no available prizes this button should be disabled and an info message "No prizes to draw"

[Might be working already?] Copy link button does not work on firefox

Create and apply logo

We use a tailwindui logo as placeholder, we need an unique one

Hide email from other people unless you're an admin

We show all emails right now. Only admins should see these unless its yours

Add "Logout" to the navbar

Our session system is pretty simple, we just add email and name session keys. A logout button should clear all sessions and send you to the root / path

Always show count of active users on a room

Right now we only say "Online users" we should show "Online users (N)" where N is the count of users.

Setup github actions for Fly.io deployments

Prizes without winners should have a different avatar

Maybe an icon that feels like "no user here"

Allow users to be drawed even if they're disconnected for a few seconds

If you get disconnected you can't be drawn right now. We want to tolerate users who left for 30 seconds and then remove them from the list.

There are many ways this can be done, I'm open to suggestions

Dedup users by email

Just logged in on mobile and saw two of me. We should not show duplicates

Admins should be able to delete prizes if they dont have winners yet

Admin only: show a gif and delay showing the drawed person a bit

When admin clicks on a draw button we should show a gif like:

Feel free to pick other better gif, this is the first I found.

Also delay a little bit before showing the person just so the gif can play a bit then show the name and hide the gif
